Holy Spirit Parish Alpha Program

by | Mar 8, 2023 | News

You are Invited to be our Guest at our In-Person Alpha Program starting April 13th, 2023

So, what is Alpha?

  • Alpha is a space to explore the Christian faith and discuss your questions with people just like you.  In 2021, 650 Alpha courses were run in a Catholic Context in Canada.
  • First there’s food, then a video followed by discussion.
  • Alpha is a proven International Program. Over one million people in Canada have experienced Alpha, and millions more have taken Alpha in over 100 countries and over 100 languages around the globe.
  • The Alpha program uses the same content irrelevant of your Christian Denomination therefore the program is for everyone!
  • And most of all it’s FUN!

Why should you get excited about Alpha?

  • You will gain wisdom and knowledge – as we unpack the basis of Christian belief about “Who is Jesus?”
  • Explore the big issues of life – in a safe environment with no wrong answers.
  • Share your faith – with new people and new friends as you discuss the good news of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
  • Develop a deeper relationship with Christ – You will have an opportunity to experience the Holy Spirit, which will strengthen your relationship with Jesus.
  • Live out your Baptismal Call – You will get to experience the joy by seeing first-hand the work of the Holy Spirit.  This joy may encourage you to live out your Baptismal Call and not just be a consumer of your faith.
